One of the longest running shows in Broadway history is playing at Rainbow Stage this summer from JUNE 28 – JULY 16, 2023, RENT is a modern musical that tells the story of an unlikely group of friends in New York City who learn to love as they overcome hardship. Although it has serious elements in it, it is a hopeful story full of humour, heart, and beautiful melodies.
Rainbow Stage suggests the production is appropriate for those aged 13 and older, Its a coming of age story with some mature subject matter which includes
some strong language and deals with sexuality and substance abuse.
RENT was originally produced in New York by New York Theatre Workshop and on Broadway by Jeffrey Seller, Kevin McCollum, Allan S. Gordon and New York Theatre Workshop;
