As Winnipeggers, we often take for granted the beauty that is before us every day during the winter months. Amidst the daily hustle and bustle its all to easy to overlook the stunning winterscapes that surround us. Freshly fallen snow, the sparkly frost on the trees, turn this city into something that resembles a scene from a Christmas card. Its important to slow down, look around and really appreciate how pretty this city is in winter. Mild winter days are perfect for getting out and about – some ice skating or a nature walk. Those cold snaps are an opportunity to get cozy and snuggly at home, brrrrr. Do a little nesting, catch up on some reading, get into the kitchen and cook something warm and yummy. Baby its cold outside – but its warm and cozy in here.
